Heaven is dead with silence as the host of angelic beings observe the crucifixion of the Son of God from above. See Gabriel and Michael standing in front of million of angels with there swords drawn. Surly God will give the order any minute and then all who have raised there hand against the Messiah shall die with a great slaughter. Yet the order is never given and after what seems like an eternity of suffering; now ends with these words. It is finished… into thy hands I commit my spirit. The angels are beyond puzzled as Gabriel and Michael calm the ranks. They don’t understand why God has allowed these insignificant humans to kill his only begotten Son. They have no idea what Jesus has just accomplished through his crucifixion and death. Then one day passes… nothing. Two days… nothing. Then on the third day God stands from his thrown and gives the commandment and the order tears hell wide open; and the resurrected Son of God full of all glory, honor, and power is alive!!! Perhaps today you don’t know why God is doing what he is doing. Why he is allowing what he is allowing. Perhaps you have been waiting for the order for quit a long time and your faith is starting to waiver. Don’t give in for the word is on it’s way. See God the Father stand to his feet. Hear his voice as he gives the order that will split your situation wide open unto resurrection life and victory. Renew your strength in the wait for his word shall be given!!!

Jesus came to fulfill all things which are written in the bible. No longer would the blood of bulls and goats be acceptable for they were just a covering of sin from year to year But Jesus became the final sacrifice which not only covers our sins but washes us whiter than snow. For he came in the volume of the book to accomplish what animal sacrifices could never accomplish. In that covering and washing by the Lamb’s blood we are sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise. For truly he has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness through his Only Begotten Son; Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Therefore cast not away thy confidence which has great recompense of reward. For you have need of patience after you have done the will of God so that you might receive his precious promise. For by his offering he has completed forever our salvation and sanctification. Now let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering. Let us not give up our eternal inheritance. Let us not surrender that which is ours any longer. Let us stop running away from our enemy and start running towards him with swords drawn!!! Let us unite “As One” and “Hold Firm To Your Salvation.” This Day.

Are you willing to do whatever it takes to get in God’s presence? Are you willing to go where ever it is to sit at his feet? Are you willing to give up whatever it takes to receive from him? Are you willing to say enough is enough I need you Jesus; right now. If the answer to these questions are a resounding; yes!!!! Then God even The Most High God is yours for this day. He’s your companion, comforter, friend and lover of your soul. He’s your ever present help today; in a time of trouble. He’s the one that speaks peace to the storm that’s raging out of control in your life. He’s Alpha and the Omega the first and last, the beginning and the end of all regrets, failures, and and sin. He still sticks closer than a brother and his name is just a whisper away,. So sing praises to the Lord your God for he is with you. Even Now.

It’s it funny how things just go together as if they were always meant to be. Like peanut butter and jelly, double stuff Oreos and cold milk, hamburger and french fries. Well what if I told you there are things in the bible which go together also and you can’t have one without the other. Like faith and works, mercy and grace, and conviction and hope. We so many times have the conviction in knowing that God can do something but we lack the hope that he will do something. Max Lucado says it this way, we must have “a conviction that he can and a hope that he will.” Therefore today I speak both a conviction that God can and a hope that God will in your life. No longer will the blessings that are yours be held back because of the lack of belief that God will not come through for you. God is for you and not against you. His love and power towards you is not in you having more faith or being more like him. His love and power towards you is knowing that he can and he will. Conviction and Hope is your this day.

Your God is a loving father. He is full of mercy and quick to forgive. Despite what you may being going through. Despite the circumstances you are in: God is for you and not against you. He still restores. He still protects. And he still loves you more than anything. For who or what shall separate you from the love of God. Shall tribulation, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, or sword? NO!!!! AND AGAIN I SAY NO!!!! For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present or things to come: nor height nor death, nor any other creature shall separate me from the love of my God that is mine through Christ Jesus my Lord. God Is For You Right Now: And Not Against You.

We have the mind of Christ available to us through his word, prayer, His Holy Spirit, church, fellowship and countless of other ways in our daily lives. For us to believe that God’s thoughts, his ways, and his will for us are so spiritual or high that we can’t know them is deception. It is as easy as opening the bible and just reading it with a hunger to know. It is as easy as just bowing our knees in prayer and asking God to speak to you in your mind, spirit, and soul. There is a scripture that a lot of people get confused about when they hear it or even speak it. God is speaking to those who don’t believe in him. Those who did know him and have turned away from him. God says to them your thoughts are not my thoughts and your ways are not my way. For as the heavens are higher than the earth so are my ways and thoughts above yours. Notice something here. God never said you can’t know his thoughts; he simply said that when you are in a state of separation from him through sin; his thoughts and ways will always be above their ways and thoughts. It is such a lie of satan for you and I to believe we can’t hear God or we can’t know his thoughts and ways concerning us, our love ones, and especially the lost. If we truly believe the scripture that says; God has given us all things to pertain to life and godliness: then surly it includes his thoughts and his ways for us daily.

I received in my mail box a notice that I had two certified letters at the post office. As I stood in the post office line waiting my turn I noticed that the notice said the certified letters were for my son in law and not for me. So as I approached the clerk she took the notice and said are you Michael and I said yes. She said I need to see your identification please. I quickly said I don’t have any on me although I did. She said I’m sorry I can’t give you the letters without identification. I said listen I’m not really Michael he is my son in law and he has been transferred to Fort Bragg, North Carolina although that was another lie he is still here at Fort Drum, N.Y. Could you please just give his mail so that I could get it to him. She said sir it is a federal offense to try and get someone’s mail under false pretenses. I then panicked and left the post office quickly. What happen? It started with just one small lie. I wasn’t out to hurt anyone or do anything illegal; I just wanted to pick up my son in laws mail for him. But that’s what happens when you start a lie. No matter the reason good or bad lies just continue to flow out of your mouth to cover the last one given. God knows the devastation that the first lie can lead too. It is a pit that has no bottom. In fact one of the main things God says he hates is a lying tongue. There is no such thing as a little white lie because it will eventually take away any truth you once had or lived in . By the way I must confess the whole story above; was a lie.

God has just appointed Ezekiel as Watchman over the people of Israel. His duty is to blow the trumpet and warn the people when he sees the sword of God coming upon the people of their land. God says if the people hear the horn and take warning they shall live but if they ignore the warning they shall die in their sins. Therefore if the wicked hear the warning and turn back to God then they will live. So it shall be also that if the righteous ignore the warning and are found in sin they shall die in their sin. God instructs the watchman to say unto the people; As I live saith the Lord God I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked: but that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why should you die? Today has has both appointed you as watchman and also watchman over your soul. God is not willing that any should perish. He is constantly sounding the trumpet and giving us warnings. If we are righteous let us continue to be righteous and sound the trumpet of warning to those who are in danger of eternal hell and separation from God. For as a watchman their blood shall be upon our head if we neglect warning them. And if we are evil let us turn from being evil while we have the chance to do so now. God has appointed the believer as the Watchman over the city.

As I was in prayer and worship this morning the words; Just Beyond The Veil came to my spirit. Then the Lord ever so gracefully begin to speak to me and say, Oh how I long to take my people; my children just beyond the veil. Their veil of pain and suffering. Their veil of sorrow and lack. Their veil of hopelessness and regret. Their veil of addiction and bondage. You see the very moment Jesus cried out from the cross it is finished and bowed his head in death; the veil that separated man and God was torn from top to bottom. This forever signifying that the death and tearing of Jesus body on the cross and the tearing of the veil in the temple made it possible for mankind to take that step just beyond the veil. So today the Lord speaks to you and I. That he has provided a way through his Sons death and resurrection for you to go beyond any veil that separates you from him, this day. Just Beyond The Veil.

How much peaceful would life be if we were to stop trying to be what other people think we should be. Nor should we take it to the other extreme and say everybody can just kiss my; I’ll stop there even though I know you just filled in the blank. Hopefully I haven’t lost some of you with that commit but I want you to know that:
“God loves you just the way you are, but he refuses to leave you that way. He wants you to be like Jesus. If you think his love for you would be stronger if your faith were stronger, you are wrong. If you think his love would be deeper if your thoughts were, wrong again. Don’t confuse God’s love with the love of people. The love of people often increase with performance and decreases with mistakes. Not so with God’s love. He loves you right were you are (Max Lucado).”
